Crown of thorns-

The fact that he notes parenthetically that the
sword and spurs of Godfrey of Bouillon are
"genuine" casts a doubt on the other relics and
landmarks. His chapter on the Church of the
Holy Sepulcher, including his reflections at
Adam's grave, is one of the best in the book.
